Founded by Peter Sterck over 15 years ago, the Malabar is a designer and manufacturer of furnishings fabrics, based in London. The company focuses on four core areas; these are fabric, paint, wallpaper and runners. Its detailed collection includes damasks, cut velvet, plains, prints, checks, embroideries, jacquards, sheers, matt paints, sating paints, china grass wallpaper and rugs.
