R W Davis & Son Ltd. was established in 1887 at Saul Junction as builders of wooden ships. Over the years the company has evolved to include the construction of steel vessels and working narrowboats. R W Davis & Son specialises in the construction of coastal and inland steel motor barges of any length and beam. The company offers all types of seagoing motor and motor sailing vessels as well as steel motor barges to its own designs or to clients own approved plans.
